Structural and Luminescence Properties of SnO2 Nanostructures Via Porcine Gelatin-Assisted Synthesis
Porous nanostructured SnO2 with a sheet-like morphology was synthesized through a simple green substrate-free gelatin-assisted calcination process using Tin tetracholoride pentahydrate as the SnO2 precursor and porcine gelatin as the template ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Observation of double percolation transitions in Ag-SnO$_2$ nanogranular films
Two percolation transitions are observed in Ag$_x$(SnO$_2)_{1-x}$ nanogranular films with Ag volume fraction $x$ ranging from $\sim$0.2 to $\sim$0.9. In the vicinity of each percolation threshold $x_{ci}$ ($i$$=$1, 2), the variation in $\sigma$ with $x ...

SnO2–Bi2O3 and SnO2–Sb2O3 gas sensors obtained by soft chemical method
Abstract In this work, SnO2–Bi2O3 and SnO2–Sb2O3 nanoparticles were obtained by using polymeric precursor method. Powders were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (DTA/TGA).
