Preparation of porous SnO2 helical nanotubes and SnO2 sheets
Materials Chemistry and Physics, 2013abstract We report a surfactant-free chemical solution route for synthesizing one-dimensional porous SnO 2 helical nanotubes templated by helical carbon nanotubes and two-dimensional SnO 2 sheets templatedby graphite sheets. Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry, and galva-nostatic dischargeecharge analysis are used to

Microstructure and structure of NiO–SnO2 and Fe2O3–SnO2 systems
Applied Surface Science, 2003Abstract The microstructure and the structure of NiO–SnO 2 and Fe 2 O 3 –SnO 2 were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and adsorption analysis (BET). The segregation of Ni or Fe on the surface of SnO 2 was observed even in specimens with 30 mol% addition.

Abstract Grafted structures between SnO2 and ZnO nanowires were realized in a two-step process of growth. First, the rootstocks of SnO2 or ZnO nanowires were synthesized by thermal evaporation technique. Second, a thin Au layer was sputter deposited on the sample and synthesis of nanowire scions of ZnO or SnO2, respectively, on the rootstocks was ...

Electroless deposition of Sno2 and antimony doped SnO2 films
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1985Abstract Thin polycrystalline films of SnO 2 and antimony doped SnO 2 have been prepared by simple economic electroless deposition technique. The transmittance in the visible range and the reflectance in the i.r. range for SnO 2 films are ∼80% and ∼70%, respectively, with resistivity ∼10 −2 Ω cm.

Growth of IrO2, SnO2, and SnO2:IrO2 crystals
Materials Research Bulletin, 1976Abstract Crystals of IrO 2 , SnO 2 , and SnO 2 :IrO 2 have been grown by chemical vapor transport. The IrO 2 crystals are larger than any previously reported. The SnO 2 and SnO 2 :IrO 2 crystals are optically clear and are suitable for optical properties studies. This is the first report on the growth of SnO 2 :IrO 2 crystals.

A single-crystalline shell based on titanium and vanadium binary oxides with karelianite structure (Ti1−xVx)2O3 was successfully deposited onto SnO2 nanowires by sequential chemical vapor deposition (CVD). In comparison to single titanium or vanadium oxide shells, the binary Ti–V metal oxide overlayer overcomes the problems related to lattice mismatch ...

SnO2 and SnO2:Pt thin films used as gas sensors
Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, 1997Abstract SnO2 and SnO2:Pt thin films, prepared by chemical spray deposition, have been used as gas sensors. The electrical characterization results and their sensing properties in the presence of CO are reported. The films were grown by chemical spray deposition on glass substrates at different temperatures.

Excimer Laser Preparation of SnO2 and SnO2/TiO2 Nanoparticles
2011A single pulse of an ArF excimer laser induces efficient oxidation of Sn(CH3)4 and Sn(CH3)4/Ti(Oi-C3H7)4 in the gas phase. The direct deposition of stoichiometric tin dioxide, tin monoxide and mixed tin/titanium dioxide is demonstrated. Structural changes at 300°C and 500°C in both vacuum and air are studied by means of XRD and Raman spectroscopy ...

Comparison of Gas Sensitivity between SnO2 nanoparticles and SnO2 nanobelts
2007 International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2007Gas-sensing components have been manufactured with prepared SnO2 nanoparticles and SnO2 nanobelts. Their performance indicates that the SnO2 nanoparticles and the SnO2 nanobelts have similar relations between sensitivity and working temperature, but SnO2 nanobelts have lower max sensitive temperature to LPG than SnO2 nanoparticles, and SnO2 nanobelts ...
