Research on voltage spike suppression for rectifier-side diodes in train-borne chargers

open access: yes机车电传动
On-board chargers are essential equipment used to charge batteries and regulate power supply from DC busbars on railway vehicles. Due to parasitic capacitance inherent in diodes on the rectifier side of these chargers, this capacitance, together with the

A study of the high frequency limitations of series resonant converters [PDF]

open access: yes
A transformer induced oscillation in series resonant (SR) converters is studied. It may occur in the discontinuous current mode. The source of the oscillation is an unexpected resonant circuit formed by normal resonance components in series with the ...

Reduced Snubber Circuit Elements For Pwm Voltage Source Inverter

open access: yes, 2002
This paper presents the description and simulation of a new proposed arrangement of RLD/RCD snubber circuit used with pulse width modulated voltage source inverter. The new arrangement allows minimizing the number of active elements of RCD with 50%. This will help the designer to reduce the size of the system.
