The effect of the regenerative Undeland snubber circuit on inverter loads
Conference Record of the 1992 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2003The influence of a particular snubber circuit on voltage source inverter loads is investigated. The protective turn-on and turn-off snubber, as proposed by T.M. Undeland et al. (1984), was analyzed for the completely regenerative case to find analytical descriptions for the various transients.

DESIGNING OPTIMUM SNUBBER CIRCUITS OR THE TRANSISTOR BRIDGE CONFIGURATION
Electric Machines & Power Systems, 1983ABSTRACT Snubbers are used in power transistor switching circuits to keep the device operation within its Safe Operating Area (SOA) during switching. The conventional series and shunt snubbers are satis -factory in a single transistor circuit. However, these are not satisfactory for a totem pole transistor arrangement.
