Stereoselective Biotransformation: Transfer of Learning to Advance Drug Metabolism and Biocatalysis
Understanding stereoselective biotransformations has implications for predicting drug disposition and response and may also inspire novel biocatalytic and biomimetic strategies to address challenges in metabolite and API synthesis. ABSTRACT Chirality is an important determinant of drug action, as enantiomers can exhibit markedly different ...

This technical report describes the sulphur dioxide measurements done on the FAAM Airborne Laboratory research aircraft, the instrument sampling and calibration setup. It also provides calibration results and measurements uncertainty and traceability for the ACRUISE-2 missions C250 to C265, and ACRUISE-3 and ACSIS-7 missions C284 to C294.

Modelling dry deposition of SO2
The goals of this paper are to briefly describe experimental methods that are used to measure SO2 dry deposition, and to discuss the physical, biological and chemical processes that control SO2 deposition fluxes over vegetation and to describe how these fluxes are modelled.

A straightforward method is introduced to produce ion‐gel films with very low surface roughness by employing a solution‐shearing coating process. These ion‐gel films permit the growth of crystalline thin films of various small molecule organic semiconductor molecules directly on top of the ion‐gel layer, thereby enabling “inverted” small molecule ...

Biodegradable wood‐based bioelectronics are realized by integrating poly (2,3‐ethylenedioxythiopene:lignosulfonate (PEDOT:LigS) as a mixed ionicelectronic channel in organic electrochemical transistors fabricated on paper substrates. The biocomposite exhibits high conductivity, biocompatibility, and strong transistor performance, while devices built on

Stretchable Energy Storage with Eutectic Gallium Indium Alloy
A highly stretchable liquid metal‐based electrode is developed via a one‐step process, retaining conductivity and capacitance after mechanical deformation up to 900% strain. The stretchable all‐solid‐state device provides a areal energy density of 43 µWh cm⁻2 after 150% strain.

Numerical Model of SO2 Scrubbing with Seawater Applied to Marine Engines
The present paper proposes a CFD model to study sulphur dioxide (SO2) absorption in seawater. The focus is on the treatment of marine diesel engine exhaust gas. Both seawater and distilled water were compared to analyze the effect of seawater alkalinity.
