Conelike soap films spanning tetrahedra [PDF]
In this paper we provide the first examples of non-flat soap films proven to span tetrahedra. These are members of a continuous two parameter family of soap films with tetrahedral boundaries. Of particular interest is a two parameter subfamily where each spanning soap film has the property that two minimal surfaces meet along an edge of the boundary at

IRGAN: A Minimax Game for Unifying Generative and Discriminative Information Retrieval Models [PDF]
This paper provides a unified account of two schools of thinking in information retrieval modelling: the generative retrieval focusing on predicting relevant documents given a query, and the discriminative retrieval focusing on predicting relevancy given

The study demonstrates that dip coating at lower speeds significantly enhances the thermoelectric performance of P3HT by improving electrical conductivity. Contrary to expectations, this improvement is seemingly not due to polymer alignment but rather to better structural order achieved during slower solvent evaporation at lower dip coating speeds ...

Floating rings in vertical soap films : capillary driven bidimensional buoyancy [PDF]
The present study aims to investigate the motion of buoyant rings in vertical soap films. Thickness differences and related bi-dimensional densities are considered as the motor leading to bi-dimensional buoyancy. We show how this effect can be re-interpreted thanks to surface tension profiles in soap films.

The effect of metallic naphthenates on the oxidation of linoleic acid [PDF]
It has been known for many years that certain metallic soaps catalyse the drying of oils. A great deal of information is available concerning the use of these soaps, but there is little knowledge of the actual manner in which the soaps catalyse drying ...

All Organic Fully Integrated Neuromorphic Crossbar Array
In this work, the first fully integrated crossbar array of electrochemical random‐access memory (ECRAM) that is composed entirely of organic materials is represented. This array can perform inference and in situ parallel training and is capable of classifying linearly separable 2D and 3D classification tasks with high accuracy.
