A Sustainable Power Production System Based on Integrated Supercritical Water Gasification of Brewer's Spent Grains and Carbon Dioxide Capture

open access: yesEnergy Technology, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
A supercritical water gasification process with syngas heat recovery is integrated into a combined cycle power system and coupled with a carbon dioxide capture unit to simultaneously produce electricity and CO2—two valuable resources for the brewing industry.

Endoscopic‐Assisted Division of Septal Formation After Duhamel Procedure for Hirschsprung Disease: Two Case Reports

open access: yesAsian Journal of Endoscopic Surgery, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT The management of septal formation after the Duhamel procedure in Hirschsprung disease remains unclear. We report two cases treated with an endoscopic‐assisted approach. Case 1 is a 5‐year‐old girl with Hirschsprung disease who underwent the Duhamel procedure.

Endoscopic Transanal Soave Procedure (ETaS) Using a LAPPROTECTOR for Hirschsprung Disease

open access: yesAsian Journal of Endoscopic Surgery, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT Short‐segment Hirschsprung disease is usually managed by a transanal Soave procedure, sometimes with laparoscopic assistance when proximal mobilization is difficult. We describe endoscope‐assisted transanal Soave (ETaS) using a Lap Protector–based access platform without laparoscopy.

Standing waves of Schrödinger equation with constant magnetic field and combined power nonlinearities

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract We study standing waves of the Schrödinger equation with constant magnetic field and combined power nonlinearities, which describes a single non‐relativistic quantum particle in the presence of an electromagnetic field. We develop the local minima geometry method to establish the existence, estimates and mass collapse results for this equation,

Perioperative and Long‐Term Functional Outcomes of Children With Early Diagnosis Versus Late Diagnosis of Hirschsprung′s Disease: A 30‐Year Monocentric Retrospective Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Pediatrics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the perioperative course and long‐term functional outcomes of children with early and late diagnosis of Hirschsprung′s disease (HD). Methods This retrospective study included patients affected by HD who underwent pull‐through between 1984 and 2015.

Anorectal gastric heterotopia as a rare cause of constipation: Case report and review of pediatric literature

open access: yesJPGN Reports, Volume 6, Issue 4, Page 407-411, November 2025.
Abstract Gastric heterotropia (GHT) may present from the oropharynx to the anus and is commonly associated with Meckel's diverticula. Here, we describe a rare case of anorectal GHT localized to the distal anal canal. A 14‐month‐old male patient presented for evaluation of rectal bleeding, severe constipation, and abdominal distention with poor response

Impaired Fertility and Sexual Function in Women With Hirschsprung Disease: Results From an International Multi‐Centre Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Volume 132, Issue 11, Page 1673-1680, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective Hirschsprung is a congenital disorder affecting the gastrointestinal tract. However, pelvic colorectal surgery in infancy has been hypothesised to impact gynaecological outcomes in later life. Describe sexual function and fertility outcomes in women with Hirschsprung disease compared to population controls.
