Proceedings of the 4th International Symposium on Wikis, 2008
Many wikis provide good workspace awareness. Users see quickly what changes have been made or get notified about modifications on selected pages. However, they do not support a more sophisticated social or group awareness.Being aware of social structures is important for collaborative work.

This paper describes SOC, a program slicer for CSP specifications. In order to increase the precision of program slicing, SOC uses a new data structure called Context-sensitive Synchronized Control Flow Graph (CSCFG). Given a CSP specification, SOC generates its associated CSCFG and produces from it two different kinds of slices; which correspond to ...

SOC-Convexity and SOC-Monotonity
2019In this chapter, we introduce the SOC-convexity and SOC-monotonicity which are natural extensions of traditional convexity and monotonicity. These kinds of SOC-convex and SOC-monotone functions are also parallel to matrix-convex and matrix-monotone functions, see [21, 74].

SOC Means and SOC Inequalities
2019In this chapter, we present some other types of applications of the aforementioned SOC-functions, SOC-convexity, and SOC-monotonicity. These include so-called SOC means, SOC weighted means, and a few SOC trace versions of Young, Holder, Minkowski inequalities, and Powers–Stormer’s inequality. We believe that these results will be helpful in convergence

Ca2+ release from the intracellular Ca2+ stores on stimulation with physiological agonists is often followed, after a brief lag, by Ca2+ entry from the extracellular medium. This Ca2+ entry is due to activation of store-operated Ca2+ channels (SOC) of the plasma membrane, which open when ...

This chapter deals with the SOC design as re-convergent model and physical design process of the system on chip (SOC). The complete physical design flow is explained in this chapter starting from floor plan to design tape-out. It defines the re-convergent model of the SOC design and introduces various design file formats which are written out in the ...

This chapter deals with the importance of SOC design verification, plan and strategies adopted for verification. It defines functional simulation, functional coverage, code coverage, and other important terms used in verification. Importance of FPGA validation and how it complements the SOC design verification is explained in this chapter.

As the brain decides how much food we should eat and how much energy we should use, it listens to molecules exuded by fat. But this communication breaks down in obesity. A new study reveals a possible reason why the brain pays less attention to a weight-regulating hormone.
