Non‐ideal redox electrolytes still govern the Nernstian behavior of electrode potentials in aqueous organic redox flow batteries under operation. We utilized this effect to analytically predict two scenarios of battery performance degradation. ABSTRACT Aqueous organic redox flow batteries (AORFBs) enhance the sustainability of battery energy storage ...

A physics‐based framework resolving graphite phase‐separation dynamics establishes a predictive, degradation‐aware fast‐charging methodology for commercial Li‐ion batteries. The resulting model‐informed protocol achieves 20%–80% state‐of‐charge in 14 min while matching the long‐term degradation of a commercial 25‐minute EV strategy.

Electrode SOC and Soh Estimation with Electrode-Level Ecms
Being able to predict battery internal states that are related to battery degradation is a key aspect to improve battery lifetime and performance, enhancing cleaner electric transportation and energy generation. However, most present battery management systems (BMSs) use equivalent-circuit models (ECMs) for state of charge (SOC) and state of health ...

Outstanding TC Enhancement in 5d–3d Y2NiIrO6 by Compression
Double perovskite Y2NiIrO6 with half filed 3d eg–5d t2g configuration, exhibits first experimental example of pressure‐enhanced magnetic interaction in iridate and iridate‐related systems. Its Curie temperature increase from 192 to 243 K at 17 GPa. Herein, the orthogonal eg–t2g pathway remains robust even under compression‐induced lattice distortion ...
