Modeling and SOC estimation of LiFePO4 battery
2016 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2016In order to estimate the state of charge (SOC) of LiFePO4 battery more accurately, an improved Extended Kalman Filter (EFK) algorithm is proposed to estimate the parameters in the least squared identification model. A second-order RC equivalent circuit is used as the battery model, and an additive term is introduced into the state equation for real ...

High frequency jitter estimator for SoCs
2015 20th IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS), 2015This paper presents an Embedded Test Instrument (ETI) for the estimation of the High Frequency (HF) jitter of an observed clock signal. The ETI uses a second reference clock for under-sampling the observed signal similar to previous approaches. However, the analysis of the test response does not require the construction of the Cumulative Distributed ...

Adaptive state of charge (SOC) estimator for a battery
2006 American Control Conference, 2006This work proposes an adaptive least-squares estimation strategy to determine the state of charge (SOC) for an electro-chemical battery. An estimation analysis is presented which proves that under a set of qualifying conditions, that the SOC of the battery can be estimated.
