Why Is the Mechanism Underlying the Chiral‐Induced Selectivity Effect Still Challenging?
The chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect is observed in many experimental configurations and for different materials. However, there are theoretical challenges in attempting to explain those results. A qualitative framework for explaining all the results is presented.

One‐dimensional C4N2H14PbBr4 is shown to have a quasi‐direct electronic band structure and strongly anisotropic transport with polarized broadband emission. A GW/Bethe–Salpeter excited‐state force formalism, supported by polarized Raman and temperature‐dependent photoluminescence, identifies low–frequency Pb–Br phonons that drive ultrafast exciton self‐

When Cubic is Not Isotropic: Phonon–Exciton Decoupling in CuInSnS4 Single Crystals
A cubic CuInSnS4 crystal does not fully play by cubic rules. While phonons follow the average iso‐tropic lattice symmetry, the disorder‐localized excitons break away, showing strong, and reproduci‐ble polarization‐dependent emission. This work shows how intrinsic cation disorder can turn a mac‐roscopically cubic material into a source of hidden ...

State of Charge Estimation for Lithium-Ion Power Battery Based on H-Infinity Filter Algorithm
To accurately estimate the state of charge (SOC) of lithium-ion power batteries in the event of errors in the battery model or unknown external noise, an SOC estimation method based on the H-infinity filter (HIF) algorithm is proposed in this paper ...

A high level SoC power estimation based on IP modeling [PDF]
Current electronic system design requires to be concerned with power consumption consideration. However, in a lot of design tools, the application power consumption budget is estimated after RTL synthesis. We propose in this article a methodology based on measurements which allows to model the application power consumption with architectural and ...

Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint
