In the course of a study on artificial sweeteners, new crystal structures of cyclamic acid, sodium cyclamate, potassium cyclamate, ammonium cyclamate, rubidium cyclamate and tetra-n-propylammonium cyclamate have been determined. Cyclamic acid exists in its zwitterionic form in the crystalline state.
