Green synthesis of new chiral 1-(arylamino)imidazo[2,1-a]isoindole-2,5-diones from the corresponding α-amino acid arylhydrazides in aqueous medium

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2018
New chiral 1-(arylamino)imidazo[2,1-a]isoindole-2,5-dione derivatives were obtained in good to excellent yields via the cyclocondensation of 2-formylbenzoic acid and various α-amino acid arylhydrazides using water as the solvent in the presence of sodium

TPMS‐Gyroid Scaffold‐Mediated Up‐Regulation of ITGB1 for Enhanced Cell Adhesion and Immune‐Modulatory Osteogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A) SLM generates biomimetic bone scaffolds with consistent porosity but varying TPMS‐Gyroid unit cell designs (TG15, TG20, TG25, TG30). B) By enhancing the expression of ITGB1, TPMS‐Gyroid scaffolds can facilitate osteogenic differentiation in BMSCs and promote M2 polarization in macrophages.

Terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase. Serological studies and radioimmunoassay [PDF]

open access: yes, 1976
Mouse antisera against calf terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase (terminal transferase) have been prepared. The sera have been used to characterize terminal transferase both by studying inhibition of enzyme activity and by developing a competition ...

Enhancing the Pharmacokinetics of Aptamers: Targeting AXL In Vivo Using a Bottlebrush Polymer‐Conjugated Aptamer

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A phosphodiester‐backboned bottlebrush polymer (pacDNA) engineered for aptamer delivery is presented. This design enhances aptamer stability, plasma pharmacokinetics, and target engagement in vivo. In AXL‐driven cancer models, pacDNA inhibits AXL signaling and reduces tumor growth, highlighting the promise of precision polymer scaffolds in aptamer ...

Interaction of an Antituberculosis Drug with a Nanoscopic Macromolecular Assembly: Temperature-Dependent Förster Resonance Energy Transfer Studies on Rifampicin in an Anionic Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Micelle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this contribution, we report studies on the nature of binding of a potent antituberculosis drug, Rifampicin (RF) with a model drug delivery system, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micelle.

Carbon‐Based Flexible Electrode for Efficient Electrochemical Generation of Reactive Chlorine Species in Tumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 14, Issue 17, July 4, 2025.
A flexible electrode loaded with a carbon nanowire network (CC@C‐NWN) is developed for electrochemically generating reactive chlorine species (RCS) from abundant chloride ions in body fluids for tumor therapy. CC@C‐NWN enhances chlorine evolution, inducing redox dysregulation and synergistic apoptosis‐ferroptosis in tumor cells.

Gas separated properties of membranes with diffusive layers from N-alkylated poly(vinyl pyridine) and its complexes with sodium dodecyl sulfate

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2009
O2 and N2 permeability of membranes with diffusive layers from quaternary poly(vinyl pyridine) and its complexes with sodium dodecyl sulfate was studied. The influence of a layer's chemical structure on these gases selectivity separation was shown.

Identification of putative methanol dehydrogenase (moxF) structural genes in methylotrophs and cloning of moxF genes from Methylococcus capsulatus bath and Methylomonas albus BG8 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
An open-reading-frame fragment of a Methylobacterium sp. strain AM1 gene (moxF) encoding a portion of the methanol dehydrogenase structural protein has been used as a hybridization probe to detect similar sequences in a variety of methylotrophic bacteria.
