Sulfur fluoride exchange (SuFEx) is a powerful click platform, yet water‐compatible multifunctional linchpins remain elusive. Here, we report decagram‐scalable diazonium linchpins that enable rapid Pd‐catalyzed diversification and direct, catalyst‐free on‐DNA ligation in aqueous media.

EFFECTS OF VITAMIN C ON ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEMS AND STEROIDOGENIC ENZYMES IN SODIUM FLUORIDE-EXPOSED TM4 SERTOLI CELLS [PDF]
Fluoride, which is commonly found in drinking water and nutrients, threatens the environment and human life. Fluoride damages cells by causing free radical formation and affects male reproductive function by preventing spermatogenesis, changing the ...

Evaluation of toxic action of fluorides on agricultural plants
The toxicity of potassium fluoride, sodium fluoride and ammonium fluoride for pea, maize, oat and onion was studied. It was found that the level of the toxic influence had grown with increase of fluoride concentration in the media of growth (from 5 to ...

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

Atomic layer deposition is used to conformally surface engineer polymeric membranes to fabricate inorganic–organic hybrid membranes. These membranes have exceptionally strong attraction toward water even in high oil containing emulsions, which leads to an extremely strong hydration layer at the interface.

Cytotoxicity and Genotoxicity of Fluoride Toothpastes in Buccal Cells
Objectives: This study investigated whether toothpastes containing different fluoride compounds influence cytotoxic and genotoxic alterations in buccal mucosal cells, with particular attention to the type of fluoride, the presence of fluoride itself ...

Sea cucumber mutable collagenous tissue (MCT) is a remarkable collagen‐based material which can rapidly undergo large changes in stiffness through transiently bound effector proteins. Here, we investigate the hierarchical structure and mechanical response of MCT from Cucumaria frondosa across length scales with a wide range of methods, also exploring ...

Sodium Fluoride Enhances T2 Bacteriophage Yield [PDF]
Sodium Fluoride is a strong stimulator of the adenylate cyclase enzyme both in eucaryotic and in procaryotic cells. Stimulation of adenylate cyclase produces cAMP and increases the metabolic activity of bacterial cells by methods that are as yet not ...
