Investigation of Substituting the organic complex of sulvy-x rather than sodium silicate in CMP pulp bleaching of Mazandaran wood and paper industries [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران, 2011
In this study, the effect of elimination and relative decrease of sodium silicate along with substituting the organic complex of sulvy-x was investigated on optical properties of CMP pulp bleached by hydrogen peroxide.

Viscosities of melts in the Na2O---FeO---Fe2O3---SiO2 system and factors controlling relative viscosities of fully polymerized silicate melts [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Na2O---B2O3---SiO2 and Na2O-Ga2O3 viscosities decrease in the order aluminosilicate > ferrosilicate, (galliosilicate ?) > borosilicate. Thp electronegativities of the trivalent cations are inversely correlated with the relative viscosities of melts in ...

Investigation on the Application of the Organic Complex " Sulvy-x " in Peroxide Bleaching of Hornbeam CMP Pulp [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران, 2010
In this study, the effect of organic complex "sulvy-x" on the optical properties of hornbeam CMP pulp bleached with hydrogen peroxide was investigated. Sulvy-x was used in two sequences silicate-free and silicate containing in hydrogen peroxide bleaching.

Recycling water glass from wet reclamation sewage of waste sodium silicate-bonded sand [PDF]

open access: yesChina Foundry, 2019
Wet reclamation of waste sodium silicate-bonded sand produces much alkaline sewage and causes pollution. Recycling water glass from wet reclamation sewage of the waste sodium silicate-bonded sand can solve pollution issues and generate economic ...

First principles study of a sodium borosilicate glass-former I: The liquid state [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We use ab initio simulations to study the static and dynamic properties of a sodium borosilicate liquid with composition 3Na_2O-B_2O_3-6SiO_2, i.e. a system that is the basis of many glass-forming materials.

Matrix controlled channel diffusion of sodium in amorphous silica

open access: yes, 2002
To find the origin of the diffusion channels observed in sodium-silicate glasses, we have performed classical molecular dynamics simulations of Na$_2$O--4SiO$_2$ during which the mass of the Si and O atoms has been multiplied by a tuning coefficient.

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

The Impact of Microwave Penetration Depth on the Process of Heating the Moulding Sand with Sodium Silicate

open access: yesArchives of Foundry Engineering, 2017
This paper presents the impact of microwave penetration depth on the process of heating the moulding sand with sodium silicate. For each material it is affected by: the wavelength in vacuum and the real and imaginary components of the relative complex ...

Viscosity-temperature relationships in the system Na2Si2O5-Na4Al2O5 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
The viscosity-temperature relationships of five melts on the join Na2Si2O2-Na4Al2O5 (5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 mole percent Na4Al2O5) have been measured in air, at 1 atm and 1000–1350°C with a concentric cylinder viscometer.

Tuning the Dielectric Properties of Individual Clay Nanosheets by Interlayer Composition: Toward Nano‐Electret Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The dielectric properties of clays are studied on the level of individual monolayers and functional double stacks. The material breakdown characteristics and charge storage performance are analyzed. For illustration, a defined charge pattern representing a cuneiform character is produced, written into a microscopic clay tile, referencing the origins of
