3D vector magnetic properties of soft magnetic composite material [PDF]
Abstract Even under one-dimensional (1D) alternating or 2D rotating magnetic excitation, a magnetic material shows 3D magnetic property due to the rotation of magnetic domains. Only when the 3D properties are properly considered the understanding and modelling of the magnetisation process can be complete.

The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

Enhanced ferroelectricity and magnetoelectricity in 0.75BaTiO3-0.25BaFe12O19 by spark plasma sintering [PDF]
Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) technique was employed to synthesize 0.75BaTiO3-0.25BaFe12O19 composite. X-ray diffraction studies revealed that the composite consisted of both BaTiO3 (ferroelectric phase) andBaFe12O19 (ferrimagnetic phase), respectively ...

Behaviour in Magnetic Fields of Fast Conventional and Fine-Mesh Photomultipliers
The performance of both conventional and fine-mesh Hamamatsu photomultipliers has been measured inside moderate magnetic fields. This has allowed the test of effective shielding solutions for photomultipliers, to be used in time-of-flight detectors based

Dynamically Favored Chiral Symmetry Breakings in Supersymmetric Quantum Chromodynamics [PDF]
By the use of an effective superpotential in supersymmetric quantum chromodynamics (SQCD) with N_f flavors and N_c colors of quarks for N_f>=N_c+2, the influence of soft supersymmetry (SUSY) breakings is examined to clarify dynamics of chiral symmetry ...

FORC-study of magnetization reversal of L10-FePt based exchange coupled composite films
Perpendicular exchange coupled composite structures were prepared, utilizing L10-FePt as hard layer and [Co/Ni]N multilayer as soft layer. Magnetic characteristics revealed the gradually change of the magnetization reversal mechanism from incoherent ...

Comparative study of 3D flux electrical machines with soft magnetic composite cores [PDF]
This paper compares two types of three-dimensional (3D) flux electrical machines with soft magnetic composite (SMC) cores, namely claw pole and transverse flux machines. 3D electromagnetic field analysis is conducted for the computation of some important

A nonlinear theory for fibre-reinforced magneto-elastic rods
We derive a model for the finite motion of a magneto-elastic rod reinforced with isotropic (spherical) or anisotropic (ellipsoidal) inclusions. The particles are assumed weakly and uniformly magnetised, rigid and firmly embedded into the elastomeric ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
