An Unbalanced Capacitor Voltage Buck Converter With Wide Soft Switching Range

open access: yes, 2023
DC–DC converters using soft switching technology have gained popularity in several industrial applications. Nevertheless, a wider soft switching range and a simpler structure are the holy grail for these converters.

Investigation of Novel Transformerless Converters for DC Microgrid: Design and Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2022
This paper proposes two new soft-switching transformerless converters with high voltage conversion ratio. These proposed converters achieve soft-switching each with a single auxiliary resonant cell.

A zero‐current‐transition soft‐switching technique for T‐type NPC three‐level inverter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2023
Based on the commutation property of the T‐type neutral point clamped (T‐NPC) three‐level inverter, a novel zero‐current‐transition (ZCT) soft‐switching topology is proposed.

Single-switch soft-switching flyback converter [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1996
A novel control method is proposed to achieve soft-switching in the single-switch flyback converter. Using the proposed scheme, circuit efficiency is increased while the simplicity of the circuit is maintained. A 200 W converter is built to verify the proposed scheme.

A self‐driven synchronous rectification wide‐range ZVS single‐switch forward converter controlled using the variable inductance

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2023
A new single switch ZVS forward converter with a wide soft‐switching range is proposed here. Compared to the conventional forward converter, the proposed converter uses fewer components and operates under ZVS soft switching.

A Soft-Switching Control for Cascaded Buck-Boost Converters Without Zero-Crossing Detection

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper proposes a novel soft-switching control without zero-crossing detection for the cascaded buck-boost converters (CBBCs). The proposed soft-switching control consists of two parts: soft-switching modulation and closed-loop control.

A SOFT way for openflow switch interoperability testing [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 8th international conference on Emerging networking experiments and technologies, 2012
The increasing adoption of Software Defined Networking, and OpenFlow in particular, brings great hope for increasing extensibility and lowering costs of deploying new network functionality. A key component in these networks is the OpenFlow agent, a piece of software that a switch runs to enable remote programmatic access to its forwarding tables. While
