MHSDN: A Hierarchical Software Defined Network Reliability Framework design
At present, attacks based on the vulnerability of the controller and flooding attacks still constitute a principal threat for hierarchical Software Defined Network (SDN), such as flow table tampering, malicious Application attacks, Distributed Denial of ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

The Influence of Failover on Software-Defined Network and Conventional Network
The growing use of the Internet resulted in the number of agencies that use two or more internet gateway paths or so-called Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to maintain network availability. Using two or more gateway paths allows break-up of connections

Joint Congestion Control Strategy in Software Defined Content Network [PDF]
Content-centric Network(CCN) provides a solution to solve the problem of content acquisition and distribution in the view of network architecture. The finiteness of network resource and unexpectedness of network traffic result in network congestion ...

An Empirical Model of Packet Processing Delay of the Open vSwitch
Network virtualization offers flexibility by decoupling virtual network from the underlying physical network. Software-Defined Network (SDN) could utilize the virtual network.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

SDN Access Control for the Masses
The evolution of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has so far been predominantly geared towards defining and refining the abstractions on the forwarding and control planes. However, despite a maturing south-bound interface and a range of proposed network
