Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Traffic engineering in software-defined networking: Measurement and management

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
As the next generation network architecture, software-defined networking (SDN) has exciting application prospects. Its core idea is to separate the forwarding layer and control layer of network system, where network operators can program packet ...

Advanced Support Vector Machine- (ASVM-) Based Detection for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attack on Software Defined Networking (SDN)

open access: yesJ. Comput. Networks Commun., 2019
Software Defined Networking (SDN) has many advantages over a traditional network. The great advantage of SDN is that the network control is physically separated from forwarding devices. SDN can solve many security issues of a legacy network. Nevertheless,

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

A Hybrid Routing Protocol for Wireless Distributed Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Trends in networking are shifting from distributed to logically centralized networks. Software defined networking (SDN) is the key technology behind this shift.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Implementing an intrusion detection and prevention system using software-defined networking: Defending against port-scanning and denial-of-service attacks

open access: yesJournal of Network and Computer Applications, 2019
Over recent years, we have observed a significant increase in the number and the sophistication of cyber attacks targeting home users, businesses, government organizations and even critical infrastructure. In many cases, it is important to detect attacks

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Software-defined time-sensitive networking for hybrid multi-domain networking

open access: yesTongxin xuebao
To address the problem of deterministic end-to-end transmission in hybrid multi-domain networks, a software-defined time-sensitive network organization solution was proposed.
