Anomaly Detection in Software-Defined Networking Using Machine Learning

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2019
In recent years, the Software-Defined Networking (SDN) approach has emerged that aims to make computernetworks more flexible. Although the SDN application on Google's internal network demonstrates the usefulnessof the Software-Defined Network approach ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Fast Recovery in Software-Defined Networks

open access: yes2014 Third European Workshop on Software Defined Networks, 2014
Although Software-Defined Networking and its implementation OpenFlow facilitate managing networks and enable dynamic network configuration, recovering from network failures in a timely manner remains non-trivial. The process of (a) detecting the failure, (b) communicating it to the controller and (c) recomputing the new shortest paths may result in an ...

A Survey of Controller Placement Problem in Software-Defined Networking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In order to simplify the management of the traditional network, software-defined networking (SDN) has been proposed as a promising paradigm shift that decouples control plane and data plane, providing programmability to configure the network.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Flexible open network operating system architecture for implementing higher scalability using disaggregated software‐defined optical networking

open access: yesIET Networks
The enhanced capacity of optical networks is a significant advantage within the global telecommunications industry. Optical networks provides transmission of information over large distances with reduced latency. However, the growing intricacy of network

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
