Software Reliability Growth Model with Partial Differential Equation for Various Debugging Processes
Most Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs) based on the Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process (NHPP) generally assume perfect or imperfect debugging. However, environmental factors introduce great uncertainty for SRGMs in the development and testing phase.

Software reliability growth models (SRGMs) based on a nonhomogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) are widely used to describe the stochastic failure behavior and assess the reliability of software systems. For these models, the testing‐effort effect and the fault interdependency play significant roles.

A Dynamical Reliability Prediction Algorithm for Composite Service
Dynamic selection and dynamic binding and rebinding at runtime are new characters of composite services. The traditional static reliability prediction models are unsuitable to dynamic composite services. A new reliability predicting algorithm for composite services is proposed in this paper.

Stochastic Differential Equation‐Based Flexible Software Reliability Growth Model
Several software reliability growth models (SRGMs) have been developed by software developers in tracking and measuring the growth of reliability. As the size of software system is large and the number of faults detected during the testing phase becomes large, so the change of the number of faults that are detected and removed through each debugging ...

Software Failure Probability Quantification for System Risk Assessment
Risk caused by safety‐critical I&C systems considerably affects overall plant risk. Software failures in digitalized I&C systems must be considered as the cause of risk. As digitalization of safety‐critical systems progresses, the need for software failure probability quantification increases.
