A Component Retrieval Tree Matching Algorithm Based on a Faceted Classification Scheme
An efficient scheme of component retrieval can significantly reduce the cost of software reuse. For this purpose, a method of successfully retrieving of specified components from the component repository is a crucial consideration.

Ada code reuse guidelines for design-for-reuse [PDF]
The phenomenal growth in the costs of producing software over the last three decades has forced the computing industry to look for alternative strategies to that implied by the waterfall model of computer system development.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Metrics for reusability of java language components
Software reuse is a promising opportunity for a software development process that helps in achieving an improved quality of the developed software system. Improved quality also promotes software architecture reuse opportunities. From the past few decades,

A browser for software reuse [PDF]
One important aspect of software reuse is the organization of collections of reusable software artifacts. The Software Information Base (SIB), developed within the ESPRIT project ITHACA, provides a directory to reusable software by storing information about software objects concerning the entire software life-cycle, namely requirements, design and ...

A process model of maintenance with reuse: an investigation and an implementation abstract [PDF]
Sixty to eighty per cent of the software life-cycle cost is spent on the software maintenance phase because software maintenance is usually more difficult than original development and legacy systems are generally large and complex.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Automating reuse support in a small company [PDF]
Software engineering has been facing a crisis for several years now - there is more demand for new software than there is ability to supply. Software reuse is a potential way to tackle the problems caused by the software crisis with its promises of ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
