Effect of aggregate stability on soil compaction
Soil and Tillage Research, 1991Abstract Investigations of three differently textured and structured soils showed that soil compaction is a function of texture, structure, matric water potential and type and intensity of loading. Time-dependent consolidation and shear experiments revealed that fine-textured soil is more compressible than heavier soil.

Emerging threats to the stability of soil aggregates
2021Soil aggregates are clusters of soil particles, supporting the soil physical structure. Soil aggregation is key to the functions of ecosystem, including aeration, water infiltration and storage, nutrient cycling, and the pore system. This doctoral work investigates the effects of threats on the stability of soil aggregates.
