Fe3S4 crystal with the exposed [001] facet exhibits higher catalytic activity for activating peroxydisulfate (PDS) to degrade clothianidin (CLO), which can be attributed to the dissolved Fe‐induced homogeneous catalytic process; while Fe3S4 crystal with the exposed [1‐21] facet exhibits excellent catalytic stability and durability, thereby boosting the

Biochar application influences the stability of soil aggregates and wheat yields
In the present study, a field establishment was initiated in 2018 with eight treatment conditions using biochar application rates of 0, 10, 20, or 30 t/ha and nitrogen application rates of 0 or 150 kg/ha.

Furrow tillage resolves the conventional‐vs.‐no‐tillage trade‐off by simultaneously cutting CO2 efflux to 2.0–3.0 g C m−2 d−1 and unlocking high nutrient availability for the rice rhizosphere. This scalable agronomic solution strengthens soil health, enhances plant physiology, reshapes microbial metabolism, and shifts paddy systems toward a net ...

This study unveils a novel antibacterial mechanism against MRSA, in which the compound Py‐27 selectively targets and inhibits aspartate transcarbamoylase (ATCase), a key enzyme in pyrimidine synthesis. This inhibition disrupts DNA replication, induces oxidative damage, leading to potent bactericidal activity.
