Gemella morbillorum Promotes Colorectal Carcinogenesis: LPBDCP‐Mediated Invasion Activates Ras Signaling and Destabilizes p53

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gut microbiota dysbiosis promotes colorectal cancer (CRC) tumorigenesis. A global fecal metagenomic analysis identified Gemella morbillorum as a key contributor to the CRC‐associated microbiota. Fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed that Gemella morbillorum is enriched in CRC tumor tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues.

Plane Plastic Deformation of Soils [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1962
Consistent theory of plane plastic deformation of soil is formulated by assuming soil as ideal material that has constant cohesion and frictional angle; mathematical expression referred to as "compression characteristic" is developed; then system of differential equations describing plasticity of material is devised; consistency of system of equations ...

Experiment on Interaction of Abutment, Steel H-Pile and Soil in Integral Abutment Jointless Bridges (IAJBs) under Low-Cycle Pseudo-Static Displacement Loads

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Soil-abutment or soil-pile interactions under cyclic static loads have been widely studied in integral abutment jointless bridges (IAJBs). However, the IAJB has the combinational interaction of soil-abutment and soil-pile, and the soil-abutment-pile ...
