Bending‐Stable Pressure Sensor Based on Natural Wood Nanofibers for Ultra‐Low Detection Limit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A wood nanofiber‐based flexible pressure sensor with intrinsic bending‐stable performance is developed through a porous electrospun architecture and interdigital electrode design. The device exhibits an ultra‐low detection limit and stable operation under deformation for physiological monitoring and spatial sensing, providing a sustainable strategy for

Groundwater Rise Sustains the World's Largest Alpine Water System Under Global Warming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Shallow groundwater depth (SGWD) across the non‐permafrost plains of the Qinghai–Xizang Plateau decreased at averagely 0.02 m year−1, adding 31.44 Gt of freshwater storage from 2000 to 2020 and sustaining ∼53 500 km2 of alpine ecosystems. A vadose‐zone capacity of 426.6 Gt reveals these aquifers as promising reservoirs, highlighting groundwater's ...

Paraborg: Paramedic Cyborg Insects for In Situ Emergency Drug‐Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces Paraborg, a human‐supervised paramedic cyborg‐insect platform that combines controllable locomotion, onboard imaging, and an auto‐injection mechanism for in situ drug‐delivery. By demonstrating reliable navigation, target stabilization, injector launch, and multi‐insect teamwork, the study extends cyborg insects from survivor ...
