Pesticide Science, 1970AbstractUnder field conditions, there was little loss of herbicidal activity following spring application of pronamide when the soil temperature remained below about 13°c, but under normal summer conditions loss was rapid (half‐life 2–4 weeks). Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B, 1980Chlorpyrifos (Lorsban emulsifiable concentrate) was applied at 3.4 kg AI/ha and incorporated into sand and muck soil contained in small field plots. Soil samples were taken at intervals over 2 yr. Radishes and carrots, seeded yearly, served as indicator crops for absorption of insecticide residues.
