open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2018

Logarithmically Slow Expansion of Hot Bubbles in Gases

open access: yes, 1999
We report logarithmically slow expansion of hot bubbles in gases in the process of cooling. A model problem first solved, when the temperature has compact support. Then temperature profile decaying exponentially at large distances is considered.

Halide‐Dependent Photoluminescence and Heavy‐Atom Effects in Low‐Melting Organic–Inorganic Manganese Halides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...

open access: yesOilseeds and fats, crops and lipids, 2017

open access: yesVertigO, 2012
Vegetable gardens are localised in human impacted environments, at the interface between agriculture, city and industry. Therefore, garden soils are highly fertile and show very contrasted characteristics resulting from various gardening practices. These

Non-Monotonic Dispersion of Surface Waves in Magnetic Fluids

open access: yes, 1996
The dispersion relation of surface waves of a magnetic fluid in a magnetic field is studied experimentally. We verify the theoretically predicted existence of a non-monotonic dispersion relation.

Engineering Strategies for Stable and Long‐Life Alkaline Zinc‐Based Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Alkaline zinc‐based flow batteries face persistent challenges from unstable zinc deposition, including dendrite growth, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution, which severely limit cycling stability. Current research addresses these issues through coordinated electrode structuring, electrolyte regulation, and membrane design to control zinc ...

Controlled Dynamics of Interfaces in a Vibrated Granular Layer

open access: yes, 1998
We present experimental study of a topological excitation, {\it interface}, in a vertically vibrated layer of granular material. We show that these interfaces, separating regions of granular material oscillation with opposite phases, can be shifted and ...

In‐Situ Solution Complexation for n‐Type Surface‐Energetics Reconstruction in 2.0 eV Ultra‐Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2020
