The complete mitochondrial genome sequences of potato (Solanum tuberosum L., Solanaceae)
Potato (Solanum tuberosum) from the Solanaceae is the fourth most important food crop worldwide. In this study, five complete mitochondrial genome sequences of S. tuberosum were characterized through de novo assembly of whole genome sequencing data.

Antocianinas en Solanum tuberosum: Una revisión
Anthocyanins are positively charged molecules of plant origin belonging to the flavonoid group, found in various pigmented varieties of Solanum tuberosum. The 6 most common anthocyanins found in potatoes are derivatives of pelargonidin, malvidin, petunidin, delphinidin, cyanidin and peonidin, in different concentrations.

Solanum tuberosum Supplementation for Biogas Production [PDF]
Production of biogas using animal dung is well documented. Nutritional supplement enhances microbial activity and ultimately results in increase biogas production. Solanum tuberosum (potato) is a vegetable crop grown in most parts of world. It is a rich source of carbohydrate starch and many minerals.

Harnessing entomopathogenic fungi: A meta‐analysis on their role as plant growth promoters
Our meta‐analysis highlights the potential of entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) as sustainable alternatives to chemical pesticides and fertilisers. By promoting plant growth and reducing reliance on agrochemicals, EPF can support healthier crops, minimise environmental contamination and improve profitability within food production systems.

Managing potato biodiversity to cope with frost risk in the high Andes: a modeling perspective.
Austral summer frosts in the Andean highlands are ubiquitous throughout the crop cycle, causing yield losses. In spite of the existing warming trend, climate change models forecast high variability, including freezing temperatures.

Altered Glycosylation of PSA in Prostate Cancer Tissue
ABSTRACT Background The glycosylation of proteins is commonly altered in cancer. This offers novel opportunities for cancer biomarker development. As prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) is a glycoprotein, identification of cancer‐specific PSA‐glycoforms is feasible. Such PSA‐glycoforms may provide valuable diagnostic and prognostic information. Methods PSA‐

Click beetle (Elateridae) olfactory preferences for plant volatiles, including those released by damaged plants, remain poorly understood. Olfactometer and electroantennography experiments revealed sex‐ and plant species‐specific olfactory preferences of Agriotes sputator beetles, with maturity influencing female responses.
