Disc–Planet Interactions: Migration and Resonances in Extrasolar Planetary Systems

The recently discovered 100 or so extra-solar giant planets have masses in the range of 0.12-11 Jupiter masses and are at distances of several AU or closer to the central star with periods of several days. Some of the giant planets are in or near resonant configurations.
