Solar Radio Wide‐Band Spectroscopy and Imaging Facilities of the Chinese Meridian Project Phase II
Solar eruptions, including flares and coronal mass ejections, are the most energetic phenomena in the solar system. These explosive events accelerate high‐energy particles and generate electromagnetic radiation from radio to gamma‐ray wavelengths ...

In this study, we investigate the source and dynamics of a mesoscale gravity wave (MGW) observed over northern China. On January 12, 2010, an OH airglow imager at the Xinglong station (40.2°N, 117.4°E) detected an MGW propagating from southwest to ...

A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.

Three-dimensional spectral analysis of gravity waves from airglow observations over Northwest China
The three-dimensional spectral analysis method was applied to airglow data from September 2023 to August 2024 derived from an OH airglow imager located at the Hejing station (42.79°N, 83.73°E) to study the propagation characteristics of gravity waves ...

Ionospheric effects of the extreme solar activity of February 1986 [PDF]
During February 1986, near the minimum of the 11 year Solar sunspot cycle, after a long period of totally quiet solar activity (R sub z = 0 on most days in January) a period of a suddenly enhanced solar activity occurred in the minimum between solar ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...
