Antisolar Differential Rotation May Have Revived Magnetic Braking in the Subgiant 31 Aquilae
Recent observations have shown that sufficiently slow rotation disrupts the organization of large-scale magnetic field in older main-sequence stars, leading to weakened magnetic braking (WMB) and a collapse in the efficiency of the global stellar dynamo.

Modular Electronic Microrobots With Onboard Sensor‐Program‐Steered Locomotion
Modular electronic smartlet microrobots integrate ambient‐light energy harvesting, photodetection, programmable CMOS control, and bubble‐based actuation within a sub‐millimeter fold‐up architecture. A 58‐bit on‐board CMOS chiplet enables sensor–program steered switching between independently addressable actuators, achieving closed‐loop 2D navigation in

Differential coronal rotation and solar activity
We investigated the latitudinal variation in the coronal rotation by using observations taken with Nobeyama Radioheliograph (NoRH) at 17 GHz. The time series bins are formed on different latitude regions of the solar full disc (SFD) radio image, which extend up to ±60◦ in both the hemispheres.

Abstract Germany's Renewable Energy Sources Act (REA), enacted in 2000 and subsequently amended, subsidized national renewable energy production with fixed feed‐in tariffs for renewable energy sources (RE) from wind, solar, and biogas. Empirical studies suggest that the policy was creating windfall effects for landowners and attribute farmland use ...

A linear polymer, poly(2,3‐dihydroxynaphthalene), when insolubilized, leads to self‐assembly into a hydroquinone–quinone donor+acceptor semiconducting architecture through H‐bonding and π‐stacking interactions. The polymer behaves as a heterogeneous photocatalyst in water for H2O2 production via water oxidation and O2 reduction under visible light.

An analysis of the solar differential rotation from the Kanzelhoehe sunspot drawings
We present here the results of the behaviour of the solar differential rotation during solar cycles no. 20 and no. 22, derived from Kanzelhoehe sunspot drawings (Kanzelhoehe Observatory for Solar and Environmental Research, University of Graz, Austria).

Rotation among solar-type stars
The net result is that FRESIP will produce high quality rotational data for a large (and essentially volume-limited) sample of solar-type stars. Moreover, the observed slight changes in rotation period will indicate the nature and degree of differential ...
