This paper aims to provide a robust design approach for HAWTs operating in shear flow. This study fills a critical research gap by integrating BEM and vortex theories for blade design in non‐homogeneous inflow conditions. The authors of the paper made an effort to develop and test an experimentally unsophisticated model of a turbine working in shear ...

ABSTRACT The Mediterranean is particularly sensitive to rapid climate changes (RCCs) during the Holocene. An increasing number of natural climate archives revealed that socio‐economic developments were influenced by such RCCs since the Palaeolithic. However, multi‐millennial and high‐resolution archives are still rare and often located in mountainous ...

Raman Spectroscopic Analysis and In Situ Heating Experiments on Adranosite Minerals
This study provides the first detailed Raman spectroscopic characterization of rare ammonium sulfates adranosite, iron‐rich adranosite, and adranosite‐(Fe) from volcanic and coal‐fire environments. Distinct spectral features reveal compositional differences and structural effects of Fe substitution.

Equatorial Waves Associated with Dust Storms as Simulated in a Mars General Circulation Model
Equatorial atmospheric waves provide a mechanism for variability on a wide range of timescales and for disturbances in one part of the tropics to influence other tropical locations around the globe. A Mars general circulation model is used to investigate
