Effect of number of planting rows in strip intercropping of maize, pintobean and soybean and their sole cropping on seed yield [PDF]
To evaluate the effects of rows of maize-pintobean, maize-soybean planted in strip intercropping and their sole croppings, an experiment using randomized complete block design with three replication, was conducted for two consecutive years at the ...

Crop Growth and Yield in Three-Crop Mixtures and Sole Stands in an Organic System
Low yields remain a primary obstacle to the expansion of organic farming in Europe. While legume-based mixed cropping enhances land-use efficiency, three-crop mixtures remain understudied compared to binary systems. We evaluated the vegetative and generative growth of pea (Lathyrus oleraceus Lam.), oats (Avena sativa L.), and camelina (Camelina sativa (

An Assessment of some Fertilizer Recommendations under Different Cropping Systems in a Humid Tropical Environment [PDF]
Studies were carried out to determine the effects of four fertilizer recommendation systems (bianket recommendation, soil test recommendation, recommendation based on nutrient supplementation index and unfertilized control) on five cropping systems (sole

Root interactions on sole crop and intercrop give different effects of competition
Abstract Root interactions on sole crop and intercrop give different effects of competition. Understanding on root interactions is very challenging due to the methodology limits in root studies especially when we intercrop between tree and crop components.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

How much is sole-cropping systems sustainable for camellia and crambe?
Crambe (Crambe abyssinica R.E. Fries) and camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz) are two oilseed crops belonging to the Brassicaceae family. Typically crops belonging to this family highly suffer from solecropping system, as extensively reported for oilseed rape (Brassica napus L. var. oleifera).
