Impact of Cereal+legume Intercropping Systems on Productivity and Soil Health -A Review
Intercropping involves growing of two or more cropsin definite row proportion in the same field in a given season.Presently, the practice of intercropping is mostly followed over sole cropping by small holderfarmers especially in rainfed farming, due to

Using field‐based holo‐omics, we demonstrate that developmental shifts in sorghum leaf metabolomes drive a noncanonical fungal succession from stress tolerators (S) through ruderals (R) to competitors (C). Antifungal metabolites in young leaves select for S strategists with expanded genomes, transient maltose pulses during flowering favor fast‐growing ...

Benefits of Improved Groundnut Technologies to Resource-poor Farmers: A Participatory Approach [PDF]
Considering that non-adoption of improved groundnut technologies by the small and resource-poor farmers is due to non-availability of quality seeds, poor knowledge, inappropriateness of technologies, etc., in the current study, improved groundnut ...

Evaluating cereal-legume intercrops towards sole crops by combining argumentation and simulation
Intercropping (IC) cereal and legume is a practice particularly suited inlow nitrogen input systems where it optimizes the use of N resourcesleading to improved and stabilized yields and increased cereal proteincontent [1]. Nevertheless, IC is only slightly adopted by farmers.

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.

Sensing and Filtering Environmental Fluctuations: The Case of Biomolecular Condensates in Plants
The diversity of plant condensates reflects constraints of sessile organisms to coordinate postembryonic development with environmental adaptation. This review examines how plants employ condensates to integrate temperature, light, redox, and nutrient signals.
