Solid-Contact Ion-Selective Electrodes for Histamine Determination [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Solid-contact ion-selective electrodes for histamine (HA) determination were fabricated and studied. Gold wire (0.5 mm diameter) was coated with poly(3,4-ethlenedioxythiophene) doped with poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) as a solid conductive layer ...

Spin-selected electron transfer in liquid–solid contact electrification [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
Electron transfer has been shown to contribute to contact electrification at liquid–solid interface. Here, authors investigate the magnetic field effect on the liquid–solid electron transfer and propose a spin conversion model for the liquid–solid ...

Chloride Ion-Selective Electrode with Solid-Contact Based on Polyaniline Nanofibers and Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes Nanocomposite [PDF]

open access: yesMembranes, 2022
Use of the nanocomposite of chloride-doped polyaniline nanofibers and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (PANINFs-Cl:MWCNTs) for construction of ion-selective electrodes with solid-contact sensitive to chloride ions has been described. Many types of electrodes

Nonequilibrium Anion Detection in Solid-Contact Ion-Selective Electrodes. [PDF]

open access: yesACS Omega
Low-cost and portable nitrate and phosphate sensors are needed to improve farming efficiency and reduce environmental and economic impact arising from the release of these nutrients into waterways. Ion selective electrodes (ISEs) could provide a convenient platform for detecting nitrate and phosphate, but existing ionophore-based nitrate and phosphate ...

Pump-probe localization technique of varying solid contacts [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2021
A baseline-free defect localization method in thin plates is proposed and tested. In this proof-of-concept work, a steel ball pressed against an aluminum plate is used to mimic a surface contact defect. The technique takes benefit of a repetitive nonlinear pump-probe interaction with a backpropagation imaging algorithm.
