Femtosecond Pulse Generation by Nonlinear Optical Gain Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, 2022
Many approaches have been explored to generate ultrafast lasers including mode locking, microresonators, electro‐optic modulation, and gain‐switched diodes. Despite much progress, it is still challenging to generate high‐performance ultrafast pulses with

Solid-state laser system for laser cooling of Sodium

open access: yes, 2009
We demonstrate a frequency-stabilized, all-solid laser source at 589 nm with up to 800 mW output power. The laser relies on sum-frequency generation from two laser sources at 1064 nm and 1319 nm through a PPKTP crystal in a doubly-resonant cavity.

Stability Analysis of the Laser System for the TTF Photoinjector at Fermilab [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
A solid-state laser system that produces a 1MHz pulse train of 800 pulses with 18 mJ per pulse at the wavelength of 263.5 nm has been developed to meet the requirements of the TESLA Test Facility (TTF) at Fermilab and in operation since 1998.[1,2 ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
