Biocompatible but Antibacterial Mechanism of Graphene Oxide for Sustainable Antibiotics
Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits selective antibacterial activity through specific interactions between its oxygen functional groups and bacterial membrane phospholipid POPG, causing membrane destabilization while maintaining biocompatibility. Model membrane studies and infected wound models in mice and pigs demonstrate effective bacterial suppression and ...

Paramagnetic NMR in solution and the solid state
The field of paramagnetic NMR has expanded considerably in recent years, both in solution and the solid state. This review addresses both the theoretical description of paramagnetic NMR, and the way in which it is currently practised. We provide a review of the theory of the NMR parameters of systems in both solution and the solid state.

This work introduces a regionally localized electrolyte (RLE) that spatially separates ether‐ and carbonate‐based functions to stabilize both Li metal and high‐voltage cathodes. An immobilized ether‐rich layer directs Li+ transport, activates LiNO3 locally, and forms a uniform LiF‐rich SEI, enabling lower overpotential, uniform deposition, and long ...

A hydrogel with dynamic cross‐links was formed by cross‐linking hyaluronic acid with curcumin‐preloaded, phenylboronic acid‐modified poly(amidoamine) dendrimers. This hydrogel exhibited excellent injectability and self‐healing ability, enabling controlled Cur release in response to low pH, high reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, or mechanical ...

Structural analysis of silk using solid-state NMR
Silkworms and spiders are capable of generating fibers that are both highly durable and elastic in a short span of time, using a silk solution stored within their bodies at room temperature and normal atmospheric pressure.

First Principles NMR Study of Fluorapatite under Pressure
NMR is the technique of election to probe the local properties of materials. Herein we present the results of density functional theory (DFT) \textit{ab initio} calculations of the NMR parameters for fluorapatite (FAp), a calcium orthophosphate mineral ...

A monolayer graphene/phosphoric‐acid mixed proton‐electron conducting membrane combines proton‐conducting nanoconfined acid channels with electron‐conducting graphene nanosheets for efficient high‐temperature hydrogen purification. The membrane achieves nearly 100% H2/CO2 selectivity and 69 GPU hydrogen permeance at 250°C, arising from synergistic ...
