Neonatal Malignant Solid Tumors

We reviewed the 8 malignant solid tumors in children less than 1 month of age observed at the Pediatric Surgical Department of Padua University from 1968 to 1985. These were 6 neuroblastomas, 1 Wilms' tumor and 1 angiosarcoma; 5/8 are alive without evidence of disease with a median follow-up of 8 years.
