High‐throughput screening led to the identification of 67 Z‐scheme heterojunctions (comprising 2D magnetic transition metal halides and non‐magnetic transition metal chalcogenides). For CrI3/MoTe2 and CrI3/WTe2, electronic structure analysis demonstrated that synergistic crystallographic point group and built‐in electric field effects generate a ...

Hylomorphic solitons on lattices
This paper is devoted to prove the existence of solitons on lattices. We are interested in solitary waves and solitons whose existence is related to the ratio energy/charge. These solitary waves are called hylomorphic.

Transparent lattices and their solitary waves [PDF]
We provide a familiy of transparent tight-binding models with non-trivial potentials and site-dependent hopping parameters. Their feasibility is discussed in electromagnetic resonators, dielectric slabs and quantum-mechanical traps. In the second part of the paper, the arrays are obtained through a generalization of supersymmetric quantum mechanics in ...

Propagation of a solitary fission wave [PDF]
Reaction-diffusion phenomena are encountered in an astonishing array of natural systems. Under the right conditions, self stabilizing reaction waves can arise that will propagate at constant velocity. Numerical studies have shown that fission waves of this type are also possible and that they exhibit soliton like properties.

In this work, we propose a CMP method for InP using NH4PF₆, which hydrolyzes under In3+ catalysis to form reactive species. These convert InP into low‐binding‐energy fluorides, facilitating removal and dissolution. The process delivers high material removal rates, smooth surfaces, and fluorine passivation that lowers defect density and improves ...

Nanoptera in a Period-2 Toda Chain
We study asymptotic solutions to a singularly-perturbed, period-2 Toda lattice and use exponential asymptotics to examine `nanoptera', which are nonlocal solitary waves with constant-amplitude, exponentially small wave trains.

Atomic Interlayer Mo–N4 Sites Enable Rapid Charge Transfer and Efficient CO2 Photoreduction
This work achieved efficient CO2 activation and ultrafast interlayer electron transport in a 2D COF by constructing atomic‐level Mo‐N4‐induced interlayer electron bridges (IEB), thereby kinetically and thermodynamically co‐driving the photocatalytic coupling of CO2 reduction with 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation.
