Lump and Mixed Rogue-Soliton Solutions of the (2 + 1)-Dimensional Mel’nikov System

open access: yesComplexity, 2019
Lump wave and line rogue wave of the (2 + 1)-dimensional Mel’nikov system are derived by taking the ansatz as the rational function. By combining a rational function and different exponential functions, mixed solutions between the lump and soliton are ...

Soliton molecules, asymmetric solitons and hybrid solutions for KdV–CDG equation

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, 2022
In this paper studies the Korteweg–de Vries–Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon equation (KdV–CDG). Based on the N-soliton solutions, soliton molecules and asymmetric solitons of the equation are obtained by means of velocity resonance method.

Toward Mechanical Intelligence in Robotics

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Robots can use their physical bodies to perform functions usually assigned to electronic sensors and controllers. This perspective defines mechanical intelligence through three core operations: filtering inputs, routing mechanical signals, and switching between states.

Darboux Transformation and Soliton Solution of the Nonlocal Generalized Sasa–Satsuma Equation

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This paper aims to seek soliton solutions for the nonlocal generalized Sasa–Satsuma (gSS) equation by constructing the Darboux transformation (DT). We obtain soliton solutions for the nonlocal gSS equation, including double-periodic wave, breather-like ...

Polarization Dynamics in Ferroelectrics: Insights Enabled by Machine Learning Molecular Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Machine learning molecular dynamics is presented as a route to capture polarization switching, domain wall kinetics, topological polar textures, and polar mechanical coupling beyond the limits of conventional atomistic methods. This Perspective surveys recent progress and identifies key methodological directions, including long‐range electrostatics ...

Thermal Control of Concentric Topographies Patterned by Dynamic Electro‐Templated Generated Chiral Solitonic Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An electro‐templating strategy directs the relaxation of cholesteric finger loops into discrete concentric rings whose geometry is electrically programmed. The photopolymerized structures retain the topological defect pattern and, upon heating, show reversible, castle‐like surface modulation.

Well-separated soliton-antisoliton pairs with an adjoint Higgs field in 4D space

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We present single soliton states and soliton-antisoliton states with an adjoint Higgs field in 4D flat space. The action of a single soliton state diverges, while the action of soliton-antisoliton states converges.

Nonlinear superposition between lump soliton and other nonlinear localized waves for the (2+1)-dimensional Korteweg–de Vries–Sawada–Kotera–Ramani equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
In the previous studies, the authors have reported the lump soliton collided with other nonlinear localized waves for (2+1)-dimensional Korteweg–de Vries–Sawada-Kotera–Ramani equation.

Interacting noncommutative solitons (vacua) [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Journal of Physics, 2001
We consider the dynamics of two interacting lumps/solitons in a noncommutative gauge model. We show that equations of motion describing this dynamics can be reduced to ones of a two-dimensional mechanical system which is well studied and was shown to exhibit stochastic behaviour.

Designer Moiré Quantum Materials Enabled by Freestanding Oxide Membranes in Twisted and Hybrid Bilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Freestanding oxide membranes transform twistronics by enabling deterministic stacking, strain release, and integration with two‐dimensional materials. A unified framework links local atomic registry to structural reconstruction, polar textures, charge modulation, flat bands, and magnetic responses, while identifying the fabrication and characterization
