Quiescent Gap Solitons in Coupled Nonuniform Bragg Gratings with Cubic-Quintic Nonlinearity
We study the stability characteristics of zero-velocity gap solitons in dual-core Bragg gratings with cubic-quintic nonlinearity and dispersive reflectivity. The model supports two disjointed families of gap solitons (Type 1 and Type 2).

Using the Sagdeev pseudopotential method, the existence of Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) and non-KdV solitons is investigated in a negative ion plasma comprising adiabatic positive and negative ions and kappa distributed electrons.

Here, we use the modified Kudryashov’s algorithm and addendum to Kudryashov’s technique to obtain new optical solitons of the Ginsburg–Landau fractional complex of non-linearity (CGLE) laws in Kerr, which demonstrate various phenomena in physics such as ...

We investigate the evolution dynamics of solitons with complex structures in the PT-symmetric triangular lattices with nonlocal nonlinearity, including dipole solitons, six-pole solitons, and vortex solitons. Dipole solitons can be linearly stable with a

We investigate the stability and controllability of one-dimensional bright and dark solitons, and two-dimensional bright solitons and vortices with the charges m = 1 and 2, respectively, in a nonresonantly incoherent pumped exciton–polariton condensates.

Multi-pole solitons in nonlocal nonlinear media with fourth-order diffraction
This paper studies the existence and stability of solitons in nonlocal nonlinear media (NNM) with the fourth-order diffraction, and reveals that the coupling constant of the fourth-order diffraction plays a significant role in destabilizing the ...

Heteronuclear multicolor soliton compounds induced by convex-concave phase in fiber lasers
Optical solitons emerging from fiber resonators generally possess similar properties that hinge on the system parameters. However, the generation of wavepackets composed of dissimilar solitons within the same laser cavity is still challenging in ...

Rotating asymmetric solitons in competing nonlinear media
We predict a novel family of off-center localized nonlinear modes in a rotating optical system. The whispering-gallery-like solitons bifurcate out from the symmetric fundamental solitons through a symmetry breaking.
