We present the saddle-point approximation for the effective Hamiltonian of the quantum kink in two-dimensional linear sigma models to all orders in the time-derivative expansion. We show how the effective Hamiltonian can be used to obtain semiclassical soliton form factors, valid at momentum transfers of order the soliton mass.

Phase-driven interaction of widely separated nonlinear Schr\"odinger solitons
We show that, for the 1d cubic NLS equation, widely separated equal amplitude in-phase solitons attract and opposite-phase solitons repel. Our result gives an exact description of the evolution of the two solitons valid until the solitons have moved a ...

Bright-dark solitons and their collisions in mixed N-coupled nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations [PDF]
Mixed type (bright-dark) soliton solutions of the integrable N-coupled nonlinear Schr{\"o}dinger (CNLS) equations with mixed signs of focusing and defocusing type nonlinearity coefficients are obtained by using Hirota's bilinearization method. Generally,

Nonlocal two-color vector dark solitons
In this paper, vector dark solitons with two colors are demonstrated in nonlocal nonlinear Kerr medium. Using Lagrangian method and rectangular profile of nonlocal response of the media, solutions of the solitons are obtained analytically.

A Potential of Incoherent Attraction Between Multidimensional Solitons
We obtain analytical expressions for an effective potential of interaction between two- and three-dimensional (2D and 3D) solitons (including the case of 2D vortex solitons) belonging to two different modes which are incoherently coupled by cross-phase ...

Rigidity of asymptotically conical shrinking gradient Ricci solitons [PDF]
We show that if two gradient Ricci solitons are asymptotic along some end of each to the same regular cone, then the soliton metrics must be isometric on some neighborhoods of infinity of these ends. Our theorem imposes no restrictions on the behavior of
