Synthesis of Dendritic Oligo‐Glycerol Amphiphiles with Different Hydrophobic Segments to Improve their Performance as Nanocarriers

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2025.
The synthesized dendritic oligoglycerol amphiphiles with different hydrophobic moieties show efficient micelle formation at low concentrations (CMC: 0.3–1.1 mg/mL) and a strong drug loading capacity, especially for Nile red and nimodipine. Long alkyl chains (C12) improve cargo encapsulation and biocompatibility, while release kinetics suggest potential

In Vivo Evaluation of Pam2Cys‐Modified Cancer‐Testis Antigens as Potential Self‐Adjuvanting Cancer Vaccines

open access: yesJournal of Peptide Science, Volume 31, Issue 6, June 2025.
Peptide‐based vaccines, formulated with an appropriate adjuvant, offer a versatile platform for targeted cancer immunotherapy. Herein, we explore the synthesis of two tissue‐restricted cancer‐testis antigens; (NY‐ESO‐1 and BAGE4) covalently linked to the toll‐like receptor agonist, Pam2Cys.

Combining Ionic Groups with Methallyl Dichloride Coupling Delivers New Pathways to Ionic/Non‐Ionic Hybrid Detergents

open access: yesChemPlusChem, Volume 90, Issue 5, May 2025.
Ionic/Non‐Ionic Hybrid Detergents deliver new possibilities for applications. Herein we explore shorter synthesis routes towards asymmetric hybrid detergents by investigating the compatibility of ionic groups and silyl ethers in methallyl dichloride coupling.

Eicosapentaenoic Acid Is Most Oxidatively Stable in the sn‐2 Position of Triacylglycerols Compared with sn‐3 and sn‐1

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Lipid Science and Technology, Volume 127, Issue 5, May 2025.
Regio‐ or stereopure triacylglycerols‐containing EPA at the sn‐1, sn‐2, or sn‐3 position were oxidized at 50°C, and oxidation indicators were analyzed using a comprehensive oxidomics‐analytical setup. EPA was found to be most stable in the sn‐2 position.

Ultra‐stretchable, super‐tough, and highly stable ion‐doped hydrogel for advanced robotic applications and human motion sensing

open access: yesInfoMat, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2025.
Although hydrogel‐based sensors are recognized as key players in human motion interaction technologies, their commercialization is still hindered by stability issues, primarily due to their high water content. In this work, a smart sensory glove is developed using an innovative ionic hydrogel with exceptional mechanical, anti‐freezing, and anti‐drying ...

Hydrophobic functionalization of HY zeolites for efficient conversion of glycerol to solketal

open access: yesApplied Catalysis A: General, 2020
Abstract Production of solketal by glycerol acetalization is a promising pathway to add values to glycerol. Our evidence indicated that, initially, the reaction was limited by poor interfacial mass transfer. Acetone slowly diffused and solubilized in the glycerol phase, where it reached the catalyst’s active sites to form solketal.
