Soluble IL-2 receptor in patients with primary nephrotic syndrome.

Nihon Jinzo Gakkai shi, 1991
The soluble interleukin-2 receptor (SIL-2R) levels in 46 patients with primary nephrotic syndrome were examined. The values in the nephrotic patients exceeded those in healthy controls (p less than 0.05), and were the same at the nephrotic and non-nephrotic stages.

[Soluble TNF and IL-2 receptors in patients with breast carcinoma].

Casopis lekaru ceskych, 1998
Cytokines were shown both to enhance tumour growth and formation of metastases and to inhibit proliferation of tumour cells. TNF alpha may mediate apoptosis and necrosis of cancer cells, the exact role of IL-2 remains to be elucidated. Plasma levels of TNF alpha and TNF and IL-2 soluble receptors (sTNF-R, sIL-2R) should thus be in some relation to the ...

Soluble IL-2 receptor beta and gamma subunits: ligand binding and cooperativity.

European cytokine network, 1994
Biologically relevant interleukin-2 receptors (IL-2Rs) are present in two affinity states on responsive cells. High affinity receptors (HAR) apparently exist as heterotrimers (alpha, beta and gamma) while the other functional complex, the intermediate affinity receptor (IAR), is comprised of beta and gamma chains.
