Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Karakterisasi Subgrup Sylow Solvable Dari Grup Poin Senyawa Fosfor Pentaklorida
Setiap molekul atau senyawa kimia memiliki operasi simetri yang mendeskripsikan keseluruhan karakter dari molekul tersebut. Himpunan dari semua operasi simetri yang berlaku pada suatu senyawa akan membentuk suatu grup.

The relation between college students’ academic mindsets and their persistence during math problem solving [PDF]
The present study examined the extent to which college students’ academic mindsets predicted their persistence when solving challenging math problems.

Classification of solvable Leibniz algebras with naturally graded filiform nilradical [PDF]
In this paper we show that the method for describing solvable Lie algebras with given nilradical by means of non-nilpotent outer derivations of the nilradical is also applicable to the case of Leibniz algebras.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Solvable groups derived from fuzzy hypergroups
In this paper we introduce the smallest equivalence relation ξ ∗ on a finite fuzzy hypergroup S such that the quotient group S/ξ ∗ , the set of all equivalence classes, is a solvable group.

On the degenerations of solvable Leibniz algebras [PDF]
The present paper is devoted to the description of rigid solvable Leibniz algebras. In particular, we prove that solvable Leibniz algebras under some conditions on the nilradical are rigid and we describe four-dimensional solvable Leibniz algebras with ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Topological order in an exactly solvable 3D spin model [PDF]
Research highlights: RHtriangle We study exactly solvable spin model with six-qubit nearest neighbor interactions on a 3D face centered cubic lattice. RHtriangle The ground space of the model exhibits topological quantum order.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
