Ends of groups : a computational approach [PDF]
We develop ways in which we can find the number of ends of automatic groups and groups with solvable word problem. In chapter 1, we provide an introduction to ends, splittings, and computa- tion in groups. We also remark that the `JSJ problem'

Complex orbits of solvable groups
The following structure theorems are proved: An orbit of a real solvable Lie group in projective space that is a complex submanifold is isomorphic to C k

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Observability on the classes of non-nilpotent solvable three-dimensional Lie groups
In control theory, researchers need to understand a system’s local and global behaviors in relation to its initial conditions. When discussing observability, the main focus is on the ability to analyze the system using an output space defined by an ...

Counting homomorphisms onto finite solvable groups
We present a method for computing the number of epimorphisms from a finitely presented group G to a finite solvable group Γ, which generalizes a formula of Gaschütz. Key to this approach are the degree 1 and 2 cohomology groups of G, with certain twisted

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Endotrivial modules for $p$-solvable groups.
We determine the torsion subgroup of the group of endotrivial modules for a finite solvable group in characteristic $p$. We also prove that our result would hold for $p$-solvable groups, provided a conjecture can be proved for the case of $p$-nilpotent ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Efficient Preparation of Solvable Anyons with Adaptive Quantum Circuits
The classification of topological phases of matter is a fundamental challenge in quantum many-body physics, with applications to quantum technology. Recently, this classification has been extended to the setting of adaptive finite-depth local unitary ...
