Electron transfer between complexes III and IV in S. cerevisiae mitochondrial membranes
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in S. cerevisiae mitoplasts is limited by complex IV catalytic capacity, rather than two‐dimensional cytochrome c diffusion. At physiological cytochrome c : supercomplex ratios at salinity equivalent to that of 20 mm monovalent salt, activity is maximized, indicating that this low ionic strength accurately mimics

10,11-dihydrocarbamazepine formic acid solvate [PDF]
In the title compound [systematic name: 10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenz[b, f]azepine-5-carboxamide methanoic acid solvate], (C15H14N2OCH2O2)-C-., the dihydrocarbamazepine and formic acid molecules are hydrogen bonded to form an R-2(2)(8) motif, which is further ...

A new pseudopolymorph of perchlorinated neopentasilane: the benzene monosolvate Si(SiCl3)4·C6H6
A new pseudopolymorph of dodecachloropentasilane, namely a benzene monosolvate, Si5Cl12·C6H6, is described. There are two half molecules of each kind in the asymmetric unit. Both Si5Cl12 molecules are completed by crystallographic twofold symmetry.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Entrapped Transient Chloroform Solvates of Bilastine
The knowledge about the solid forms landscape of Bilastine (BL) has been extended. The crystal structures of two anhydrous forms have been determined, and the relative thermodynamic stability among the three known anhydrous polymorphs has been ...

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.
