Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Characterization and optimization of ultrasound assisted oxidative desulfurization of a model fuel using a novel magnetic deep eutectic solvent

open access: yesInternational Journal of Sustainable Energy
In various studies, researchers have utilised different solvents to extract sulfur compounds from the fuels. This paper introduces a novel magnetic deep eutectic solvent employed in the ultrasound-assisted oxidative desulfurisation of dibenzothiophene ...

Activation Parameter and Solvent effect on solvolysis of Ethyl benzoate in Aquo-organic Solvent System

open access: yesAsian Journal of Research in Chemistry, 2019
The rate of hydrolysis of hydrolysis of ethyl benzoate were measured volumetric over the temperature range of 200c to 400c.in water-methanol mixture at different composition. The different solvation in initial and transition state is due to decrease in rate with varying the composition of mixture.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Dominant Association Species in Binary Mixtures of Methanol, Ethanol and Propanol in Nonpolar Solvents [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2004
The molecular associations in the binary mixtures of (methanol/solvent), (ethanol/solvent) and (propanol/solvent) were studied using NMR, FTIR and VLE data at different temperatures. The activity coefficients as the most important quantities representing

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Enhancing Cellulose and Lignin Fractionation from Acacia Wood: Optimized Parameters Using a Deep Eutectic Solvent System and Solvent Recovery

open access: yesMolecules
Cellulose and lignin, sourced from biomass, hold potential for innovative bioprocesses and biomaterials. However, traditional fractionation and purification methods often rely on harmful chemicals and high temperatures, making these processes both ...
