The kinetics of degradation of intrazole [1-(pchlorobenzoyl)-3-(1 H-tetrazol-5-ylmethyl)indole] in solution was investigated at 65 ± 0.1° at constant ionic strength of 0.5 over a wide pH range. Solvolysis of chenodeoxycholic acid sulfates

Chemical solvolysis of chenodeoxycholic acid sulfates was studied using 4 published methods. Quantitative recovery of chenodeoxycholic acid from the 3-sulfate was obtained with each method. However, only 2 methods yielded chenodeoxycholic acid after solvolysis of the 7-sulfate.

Abstract The logarithms of the rate constants for the acid- and base-catalysed solvolysis of phenoxysilanes ( p -XC 6 H 4 )Me 2 SiOPh (X = F, Cl, Br, H, MeO) in absolute ethanol correlate with the σ 0 constants of the substituents, the ϱ values being −0.57 for the acid- and +0.19 for the base-catalysed process.
